Step 1: We Inspect Before We Clean
We walk the property before we set up a ladder. We check how the gutters slope toward the downspouts, whether any hangers have pulled loose, whether seams are leaking, and how far apart the downspouts sit.
This matters because Cartersville gets close to 48 to 51 inches of rain a year. Many newer homes toward the Emerson corridor were fitted with smaller, builder-grade gutters and downspouts spaced too far apart for that much water. In those homes, gutters can overflow even when they are not badly clogged. Inspecting first tells us whether you need a cleaning, a cleaning plus a flagged problem, or something more.
